The problem
Your website shouldn't need constant babysitting.
Most small and content-focused WordPress sites don't need a database, an admin panel and a stack of plugins to show pages. But they still have to maintain all of it.
ERR 01
Plugin overload
Forms, SEO, caching, backups, sliders, security. Each plugin is another vendor, another update cycle and another thing that can conflict with the rest.
ERR 02
Endless updates
Core, theme and plugin updates arrive constantly. Skipping them is risky; applying them can break layouts or features you rely on.
ERR 03
Security headaches
A public login page, a database and third-party PHP code all need protecting. Outdated or abandoned plugins are a common source of trouble.
ERR 04
Unnecessary complexity
A brochure site or a blog ends up depending on a server runtime, a database and caching layers just to deliver mostly unchanging pages.
Before / after
Same website. Less machinery.
Your visitors see the same content. What changes is everything running behind it.

After — static
- Static HTML
- Optimized assets
- CDN delivery
- Git-based publishing
- Simpler hosting
Dynamic features such as forms, search, comments or checkout don't disappear — they move to dedicated services, which we plan with you during the audit.
How it works

Benefits
Less maintenance. More website.
Lightweight pages
Pages are pre-built HTML with only the CSS and JavaScript they need, so there is no server-side rendering on each visit.
Reduced attack surface
No public admin login, no database and no PHP plugins on the live site means far fewer things an attacker can target. Not zero — fewer.
Simplified hosting
Static files can be served from a CDN or almost any web host. No PHP version upgrades, no database server to keep running.
Preserved content
Posts, pages, images and metadata are carried over. Your content stays yours, in portable formats like Markdown.
SEO-conscious migration
We map existing URLs, set up redirects where paths change and keep titles, descriptions and structured data in place.
Straightforward publishing
Write, review, publish. Changes are versioned in Git, so every edit is traceable and every release can be rolled back.
Built differently
This website runs on the same principles we sell.
No WordPress. No plugin stack. Just static pages, Markdown content and a straightforward deployment pipeline.
> We don't just build static websites. We run on one.

Migration fit
Is static right for your website?
Static is a great fit for many sites — not all of them. We'd rather tell you upfront.
✓ Great fit
Blogs
Articles, categories, tags and archives are naturally static.
Portfolios
Image-heavy showcases benefit from optimized assets and CDN delivery.
Company websites
Service pages, team pages and contact information rarely change hourly.
Documentation
Versioned, searchable, linkable docs work well as static pages.
Editorial websites
Magazines and knowledge bases with a regular publishing rhythm.
Landing pages
Informational and campaign pages that need to load quickly.
! Know the limits
- WooCommerce and online shops require additional architecture.
- Membership areas need dynamic services.
- Authentication is not inherently static.
- Complex site search can require additional tooling.
- Forms need external processing.
- Content changes require a rebuild and deployment (usually automated, but not instant).
- No one can guarantee search rankings — including us.
When staying on WordPress makes sense
If your site is built around logged-in users, a large shop, heavy user-generated content, or editors who rely on many WordPress-specific workflows every day, the cost of rebuilding those pieces may outweigh the benefits. In that case we'll say so in the audit.

FAQ
Questions, answered honestly.
Will my website look the same?
That's the default goal: we recreate your current design as static templates. If you'd like a refresh at the same time, we can quote that separately.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
We work to protect them: existing URLs are preserved where possible, changed URLs get permanent redirects, and titles, descriptions and structured data are carried over. Nobody can guarantee rankings, but a careful migration avoids the most common causes of losses.
Can I still edit my content?
Yes. Content lives in Markdown files, which you can edit in a text editor, directly on GitHub, or through a Git-based CMS editor if you prefer a visual interface. Publishing triggers a rebuild that usually completes within minutes.
What happens to contact forms?
Forms are handled by a small external service — for example a serverless function or a form provider — that receives submissions and sends them to you. We set this up as part of the migration.
How long does migration take?
It depends on the number of pages, custom features and how much the design changes. After the audit you'll get an estimate for your specific site rather than a generic promise.
Can you migrate WooCommerce?
A shop needs dynamic pieces like cart, checkout and inventory, so it can't be purely static. Depending on your catalogue, a headless commerce service may work — or staying on WooCommerce may be the better choice. The audit will tell you which.
Can I keep my domain?
Yes. You keep your domain; we point it to the new hosting when you approve the launch.
Do I have to use your hosting?
No. A static site can run on Cloudflare Pages, Netlify, GitHub Pages, a regular web host or your own server. We'll help you choose and set it up.
Who owns my website after migration?
You do — the content, the code and the Git repository. There is no proprietary platform holding your site hostage.
What happens if I cancel the maintenance plan?
Ongoing plans are optional and not available yet. If you use one later and cancel, your site keeps working: you keep the repository and can host and update it yourself or with anyone else.
